Setting Up Your Mail Client
Note: If you want to set up your mail client to access a CS Google Apps account please see Google’s instructions here. You should also change the setting in your Google account which allows access from less secure apps, which includes all of the apps below. Despite the name of this setting it is not actually dangerous to enable less secure apps.
These instructions will help you set up your mail client to use the CS department’s IMAP and Authenticated SMTP servers. In order to use the department’s authenticated SMTP service, you must have a department password and an email client that supports both IMAP over TLS and SMTP over TLS.
