How do I change my password?

Linux Systems and CS Websites

All Linux-like systems use IPA LDAP and Kerberos authentication. If you know your current password, you can change it using the passwd command on any department-supported Linux machine (for example, junkfood).

Windows systems

Department (UMD-CSD-NT) Accounts

To change your password on a department windows machine, log in and press Alt-Ctrl-Delete. Click Change password and follow the prompts.

Campus Accounts

To change your password, use the UMD password tool.
